Season's Greetings from the Chairman

At this joyous moment when we usher in the New Year of 2011, I would like to extend on behalf of the Board of Directors my heartfelt thanks and sincere wishes to the more than 53,000 employees of Sany Group in over 150 countries and their selflessly supportive families.   

My gratitude and good wishes also go to our customers, cooperative partners and friends from all circles who have given us support over the time in our pursuit of the Sany cause.

The year 2010 witnessed a fast growing Chinese economy and a rapid developing Sany Group. Thanks to the hard work of all from Sany, we made one more step forward toward our goal of building a world-class brand. We showcased to the world a brand-new image of “Made in China” through first-class quality powered by independent R&D and innovation. Our products can be found anywhere in the world: at the construction site of remote towns in China, on the rescue scene for the 33 trapped miners in Chile...

We now live in the greatest of times. The cause we are pursuing is not only meant to be a source of dignity and wealth, or a source of happiness and pride for our families; rather, we wish to make the best of the historical opportunities to push the international position and technological competitiveness of China’s construction machinery and equipment manufacturing to a level unseen in history. In this way, we hope to win lasting honor for our country and people in an industry that best represents the industrial civilization of mankind.

The world is fair to everyone and opportunities are the same for everyone. To utilize the historical opportunities, we should work hard and innovate. Innovation is the soul of human progress and a perpetual motive force for the development of a company. Sany should embrace innovation not only in product and technology, but also in service and management. We should not only learn from the experiences of others but also add to these experiences by turning out original technologies, epoch-making products, and new management insights. Only in this way can our work be meaningful and our sacrifice worthwhile.  

I am convinced that, given the ambitions, industry, and intelligence of all from Sany, we can constantly draw inspirations from the needs of customers and create greater value and better life for ourselves, customers, cooperative partners and mankind.
