Liang Wengen Honored China's Top 10 Market Value Managers

China Center for Market Value Management of Listed Companies recently revealed China's Top 10 Market Value Managers for Year 2008 in Beijing, including Mr. Liang Wengen, President of SANY Heavy Industry. This is the first time that China has organized the public appraisal of market value top managers in the capital market since it has stepped into the full circulation era.

SANY Heavy Industry's president Mr. Liang Wengen is also known as the first manager in China to engage in shareholding system reform. He has always been committed to improving SANY's capability of value creation and investors' confidence in SANY. With his efforts, the market value of SANY Heavy Industry has increased by 14 times, from 3.986 billion Yuan at the start of shareholding reform to 56.584 billion Yuan at the end of 2007. Also included in China's Top 10 Market Value Managers for Year 2008 are SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council) Chairman Li Rongrong, President of SUNING Appliance Zhang Jindong, President of CITIC Securities Wang Dongming, President of HAITONG Securities Wang Kaiguo, BOD Secretary of China Merchants Bank Lan Qi, Professor Zhu Wuxiang of Tsinghua University, individual investor Huang Mushun, former mayor of Tianjin city Dai Xianglong and President of OCEANWIDE Estate Lu Zhiqiang.

A panel, in accordance with appraisal criterion, proposed 20 candidates, out of whom 15 nominees stood out through disclosed ballots. Then the Top 10 Market Value Managers were finalized by public voting on Finance Channel of SINA.
