SANY and Putzmeister Atend 2nd China-Eurasia Expo Pocketing 50 Million Yuan in Sales

As the biggest exhibitor from Hunan Province, SANY displayed a rich mix of products. A 49-meter Putzmeister concrete pump truck attracted many customers, who were admirers of Putzmeister. A Mr. Wang from Gansu Province said, “We saw the M-shaped Putzmeister pump truck before we entered the gate of the Urumchi International Exhibition Center.”

Maximum displacement capacity of the 49-meter pump truck is up to 148m³ per hour. With an RZ-shaped 5-sectioned boom, the machine features great flexibility and zero blind spot in front of its outriggers. The compact extendable outriggers make it easier to operate in narrow work sites. Customers were also attracted by the SANY “Transformer” conceptual excavator, which was on display the first time in the Northwestern region. In less than a day’s time, it attracted over 10,000 viewers and over 1,000 people have photos taken with it. The SANY robot made its debut on the BICES (Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar) in Beijing last October.

“I saw it on TV yesterday and I have brought my children to see it,” said Taji Guli, who lives in Urumchi. The robot was riveting and awe-inspiring.

The eight-meter tall conceptual robot was based on the popular SY215 excavator. A hydraulic breaker in its left hand and a bucket in its right hand, the machine has a chassis -turned body and is operable through a cab in the center. When operated, both the head and arms can move. The “Transformer” is a sign of SANY’s passion and charisma.

SANY’s sweeping popularity at the expo brought about for SANY nearly 50 million yuan worth of orders as of September 7th. Among the products sold on the spot are four Putzmeister concrete pump trucks. Also hot on demand were SANY’s concrete machinery, excavators, and cranes. 37 units of SANY mixer trucks were sold during the Expo period. Many more customers revealed intentions of purchasing.
