Shantui supplies Zambian National Service

After months of intense bidding and negotiations, Shantui has finally wrapped up a deal with the Zambian National Service, to supply the organization with over USD$4 million worth of equipment. Consisting of 320hp SD32 bulldozers and 20-ton SE210 excavators, the machines will be used as part of a program employing youth to develop infrastructure throughout the country. The machines were successfully shipped from the Port of Tianjin in late February. The negotiations were conducted by a joint effort between Shantui and AVIC International, a team which was also responsible for several sales in Sub-Saharan Africa last year.

Combined with the sale last year to the Kenya National Youth Service, this shipment is indicative of Shantui’s growing strength in the region. Shantui’s unique value proposition, combined with its wide range of products customized for the local market, have led to an increased demand for the brand.
