Liang Yezhong Was Honorably Elected as Member of the 16th Central Committee of Communist Youth League

Liang Yezhong, the CYL secretary of Sany Group, was honorably elected as a member of the 16th Central Committee of Communist Youth League on June 12 as he participated in the 16th CYL National Congress in Beijing. The election of Liang to the committee indicates the CYL Central Committee's affirmation on Sany's CYL work for the youth, as well as an incentive for the youth work involvement in new economic organizations.

The Sany CYL secretary Liang Yezhong, with 51 representatives of the 16th CYL National Congress in Hunan Province, left for Beijing on June 8 to attend the 16th Chinese Communist Youth League National Congress.

At the second meeting of the 16th Communist Youth League Plenary Session held on June 12, Liang Yezhong was honorably elected as a member of the 16th Central Committee of Communist Youth League. The election of Liang to the committee indicates the CYL Central Committee's affirmation on Sany's CYL work for the youth, as well as an incentive for the youth work involvement in new economic organizations.

As a member of the Presidium of the 16th CYL National Congress, Liang Yezhong elaborately prepared his speech on the CYL building and innovation of new economic organizations and presented it in the group discussion of Hunan delegation. Liang Yezhong went on to explain emotionally that 'The widely coined word nowadays is "innovation" in Comrade Li Changchun's congratulatory speech on behalf of the CPC Central Committee, which shows young people's importance in various innovative activities and building of an innovation-oriented country. My understanding of innovation, however, is that from two perspectives: First, we should train and guide young people into pacesetters for innovation and pioneering work. Second, we should also promote their own innovation of all organizations to fully stimulate their innovative vitality and creative potential, so that they can contribute to promotion of fast and sound socioeconomic development relying on the power of innovation.' Liang Yezhong's views on innovation won the recognition and affirmation from the delegates at the meeting.

The CYL of Sany Group, since its establishment, has played an active role in organizing youth league members in activities and helping young staff grow in the following activities: organizing the league cadres for study tours in CYL building demonstrations, holding Sany Fun Games and skill competitions of workers, financing employees in poverty, and developing lean production and 6σ learning activities.

The Sany CYL Committee gave full play to the role of the youth vanguard especially in the earthquake rescue and relief. It organized earthquake rescue and relief teams composed of young volunteers from Sany Group to rush to the quake stricken areas at the first time. Liang Yezhong even assumed leadership in his capacity to take the commander-in-chief and coordinate all efforts of Sany departments in supporting the earthquake relief. As a dynamic, innovative team, the Sany CYL demonstrated Sany youth league members' elegant spirit of undertaking and contribution to the society with actual actions. 'China Youth Daily' has reported Sany's CYL building as a typical case for several times in sequence, which also praised Sany's CYL building to have created a new mode of operation for CYL organizations in private enterprises and even within the entire youth league.
