SANY Heavy Industry Presents China's First Fully Hydraulic Driven, High-end Wet Spray Machine

The first fully hydraulic driven, high-end wet spray machine in China was successfully launched at SANY Heavy Industry, which filled in the gap of Chinese manufactured large and medium-sized engineering equipment.

A Breach in Overseas Monopolization

Wet spray machines are extensively applied in building of hydropower tunnels, underground plants, subways, railway tunnels, rock and earth projects, military underground projects, and road projects. It delivers pre-mixed building materials through pipelines pressurized with liquid or air, and sprays these materials at high speeds on desired surfaces to form hardened layers of concrete for support or protection purposes. Concrete spray technology is widely used thanks to its simplicity and economy.

Currently, a lot of large and medium building projects are using directly imported, highly automatic wet spray machines, which lent its hands to certain level of monopoly by overseas manufacturers on the domestic market for high-end products in this category.

The birth of SANY's fully hydraulic driven, high-end wet spray machine put an end to such monopolization in China. If compared with foreign wet spray machines with single-power source system, SANY's with dual-power source system better ensures availability of power source, therefore safer in operation, and wider with power source options. Moreover, SANY's product is more flexible in that it has adopted an intellectual arm operation system.

Fathers of China's First Wet Spray Machine

As the first Chinese R&D team to "taste a snake," SANY Pumping Research Institute set off with zero reference. It does not take an expert to imagine the difficulties that it has conquered while independently designing the first fully hydraulic drive, high-end wet spray machine in the country. Team members literally devoted every second of their time to this project.

A snowstorm never seen in the past half century smashed Hunan Province right before the Chinese New Year of 2008 when the R&D project already in the final stage of assembly. The project team was plagued by constant outage of water and power supply, but all members in this team and their colleagues in the workshop were standing by 24 hours a day so that they might resume their work in each unpredictable few hours when power supply was restored. This had substantially ensured in-time unfolding of the project. Thanks to such relentless spirit of pursue, SANY becomes China's first developer of wet spray machine.
