SANY in Alliance with Russian Entrepreneur Association Accelerate Exploring the Russian Market

“SANY Group is an international company that begins to take shape, and it hopes that after the Russian and Asian industrial entrepreneur representatives have visited the company, the two parties can cooperate to build a future together.” On November 14th. The Member of Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial Committee and the Executive Vice Governor - Chen Zhaoxiong met with the representatives led by the former Vice Chairman of Kaliningrad, Russia - Gennady Shcherbakov in Changsha. The First Vice President of Russian-Asian Industrial Entrepreneur Alliance Liu Lida also accompanied this visit.

Before, the Russian guests also visited SANY Group. After the visit, the President of SANY Group - Tang Xiuguo and the First Vice President of Russian-Asian Industrial Entrepreneur Alliance - Liu Lida signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, and the two parties expressed that they would conduct further deep cooperation for common development.

The main purpose of Gennady Shcherbakov’s visit to Hunan was to investigate the construction of transportation infrastructure in Hunan, and the two parties conducted communication and discussion on cooperation in this field. Gennady Shcherbakov expressed that during this visit, they saw the construction achievement of expressway and high-speed railway in Hunan, they saw that the Chinese companies, especially SANY Group, have played an inestimable role during the infrastructure construction, and they sincerely hoped that related business representatives from Hunan could come to Russia to participate in exhibition or communication.

In May this year, the authorized representative of the Russian President in the Volga Coastal Federal District—Babbidge visited Changsha and SANY Group. Back then, after visiting SANY Group, Babbidge expressed that it was not by accident that he chose to visit SANY Group. He said: “SANY Group is not only very influential in the industry, but also has a high reputation in Russia. At present, Russia is conducting large-scale housing construction, and they need more engineering and mechanic products. Through this visit, we hope to establish a substantial cooperative relation with these companies.”

Gennady Shcherbakov and the representatives from Russian-Asian Industrial Entrepreneur Alliance visited the pavement construction machinery plant of SANY Group first, and the brand new and big pavement construction machineries on the two sides of road attracted the attention of the visiting mission. In accordance with the introduction of the Chairman of SANY Road Construction Machinery—Xie Zhixia, at present, the sales volume of SANY motor graders in various regions, such as Australia, South America, Southeast Asia and South Africa, has kept growing, which was very popular in the foreign markets. In particular, in the 2013 German Bauma Exhibition, the Zimbabwe National Highway System bought nearly 100 SANY motor graders, and the Zimbabwe President Mugabe and various ministers attended the handover ceremony of the first batch of products. After using the products, the leaders of Zimbabwe National Highway System gave high praise to the stability of SANY motor graders, and they acclaimed that this was the most successful oversea procurement of Zimbabwe.

After visiting the road construction machinery plant, led by the SANY Group President Tang Xiuguo, the visiting mission also visited the newly built SANY Exhibition Center. In the exhibition center, after the Russian guests learned that SANY products were used during the construction of more than 80% of high buildings in China, and they all expressed certainty. In addition, the biggest independent plant in Asia—No.18 Plant also left a deep impression on the guests.

Later, everyone went to the No.1 Conference Room of SANY Group to have meeting. Before the meeting, Liu Lida told Tang Xiuguo: “Undoubtedly, our cooperation partner will be SANY Group.” The meeting atmosphere suddenly came alive.

During the meeting, Tang Xiuguo expressed that China and Russia have long-term friendship, they have helped each other during the development, and he was very glad to meet with Gennady Shcherbakov and the representatives from Russian-Asian Industrial Entrepreneur Alliance. “In 2007, during the construction of Chita-Habarove Highway in Russia, the SANY products have made a major contribution.”

After hearing Tang Xiuguo’s introduction of the company, Liu Lida expressed that SANY’s plants were very impressive, and they had high expectation of SANY products. “We really like your company mission of ‘Quality changes the world’.” Later, the two parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and expressed that they would like to strengthen cooperation to obtain mutual benefits and a win-win situation in the future development.
