Mr. Xiang Wenbo: Elected as a NPC deputy is a lofty honor.

Recently, attending the first meeting of the 11th National People's Congress in Beijing, Mr. Xiang Wenbo, the president of SANY Heavy Industry, indicated that as a newly elected NPC deputy, he would carefully prepare the proposal and fulfill the deputies' obligation when he accepted the interview.

To be a good deputy is not an easy thing.

Following Mr. Liang Wengen, the Board Chairman of SANY Heavy Industry, Mr. Xiang Wenbo became the second SANY senior leader elected as a NPCdeputy. Mr. Liang Wengen has ever been the 8th, 9th and 10th NPC deputy continuously.

When accepting the interview, he poined out that there was about only one NPC deputy among 450,000 people in China and elected as a NPC deputy was a lofty honor. According to the law, NPC deputies were the members of the highest national authority and many major decisions needed their participation and voting. Besides,  the NPC deputy was a work needed high professional, legal and policy quality, and deputies should possess of strong legal awareness and responsibility sense, so to be a good deputy was not an easy thing.

He remarked that NPC deputies should fully understand public situation, express their opinions and pool their wisdom.

Helping employees succeed is to concern about people's livelihood

Mr. Xiang Wenbo said that his private concerning issues were mainly national economic security, industrial security, market continuance and the issues concerning the development of construction machinery industry.

When Hunan delegation deliberated the Government Work Report, he said that livelihood issue was stressed in the Premier's report greatly. In the summary of the precious five years, Premier used over 60 figures concerning livelihood issue among about 100 figures so he thought livelihood issue was a key in Chinese government past and future work. As a histiocyte in China, SANY has been committing the long-term practice of the idea, "helping employees succeed". The aim is to increase the employees' payments and welfare, improve their makings, supply a career development platform and let them share the fruits of the enterprise development.

Anti-ice spirit is worthy of summing up at earnest and carrying forward vigorously.

On March 6th, He Guoqiang, Political Bureau Standing Committee member of CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission, attended the deliberation of Hunan delegations. In the discussion, the remarks of Mr. Xiang Wenbo were agreed by He Guoqiang greatly.

"My uncle is an old retired worker whose words moved me so far."  his prologue was very attractive. He said in this Spring Festival, when they had dinner, his uncle said abruptly: "if let me make a choice now, I would still choose Communist Party of China and follow it  for a lifetime."  His uncle had been paying attention to the anti-disaster progress in Hunan. The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the provincial government organize people engage anti-ice fight, which affected the elder. After hearing the moving speech made by Zhang Chunxian, the secretary of the Provincial Committee in the disaster relief party, the elder said it from the bottom of his heart.

"I think my uncle has expressed many people's ideas." He advised CPC Central Committee to organize strength, and sum up at earnest and carry forward vigorously anti-ice spirit. "Although the anti-ice fight is end, the spirit is valuable." His remarks won much applause.

He Guoqiang said: “Hunan people's anti-ice spirit is worthy of eulogizing and I will accurately reflect your suggestions to the CPC Central Committee and the State Council."
