SANY Engineer Awarded US CWI Certificate

Report from our correspondent, recently Dong Zhen’an, mechanical engineer from Zhejiang SANY Equipment Research Institution and assistant of American Welding Specialist Jim Hoffman from SANY Group, attended the training of Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) organized by American Welding Society (AWS) in Shanghai and successfully passed the examination. Mr. Dong was the second person awarded the CWI certificate in SANY Equipment. His accomplishment will help to improve the quality of crawler crane welding technology in SANY and to make it more recognized worldwide.

AWS is an authority in Welding Industry. Its Welding Standard is the Instructional Standard in the Welding Industry in the US after being testified and approved by the USA Standards Committee. Following the standards of AWS, CWI is a welding certificate registered in the US obtained after going through relevant training and examinations. It is widely recognized worldwide. CWI has also become a criterion for the domestic welding manufacturers or overseas manufacturers to enter the North American Market. With employees certified with CWI, SANY will greatly improve the competitiveness of its export products when competing with contestants overseas.
