Palfinger acquires Danish dealer

Palfinger has acquired its Danish distributor, Palfinger Danmark AS, as a going concern in a share purchase deal.

The acquisition- from owner Stiholt Holding - guarantees the jobs of all employees and the continuation of the business and its sales and service network. The Palfinger Danmark management team led by chief executive Jens Kristoffersen, will continue to run the company.

Palfinger Danmark has imported and distributed Palfinger cranes for more than 20 years, and has 20 employees at two locations- Nørre Aaby, near Middelfart on the island of Funen and Copenhagen. It also works through a network of 18 local dealers.The business is entirely focused on selling, mounting and supporting truck mounted loader cranes, timber and recycling cranes and hooklifts.

The former owner, Stiholt says that it will now focus on its core business, which includes automotive components and truck sales and service.
