Sany Group Attends 2009 Brazil Int'l Mining and Engineering Machinery Exhibition

June 2-6, 2009, Saul Paulo. Sany Group attended the 2009 Saul Paulo International Mining and Engineering Machinery Exhibition (M&T for short) held in the Saul Paulo Immigrant Exhibition Center. This was the first time Sany attended the Exhibition, the biggest of its kind in South America, held every three years. Sany rented a space of 1000 square meters and presented 9 machineries covering 5 categories: concrete pump machinery, road machinery, excavator, pile driving, and port machinery.

A great many well-know brands made a big presence at the Exhibition with their best excavators. Sany presented three of its 20-30 ton main stream excavators with extra-large buckets specially designed for the South American market. The superior specifications of the three machines attracted the attention and interest of all the audience.

Mr Lu Yuzhong, Commercial Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Section of the Consulate General of PR China in Saul Paulo and officials from CCPIT (China Council for Promotion of International Trade) Brazil visited Sany's booth at the Exhibition on the opening day. More than 5,000 people showed their intention of purchasing by leaving their contact details at Sany's reception. Six machines were sold on the spot during the exhibition, including one reach stacker, one motor grader, one padfoot roller, and three excavators. Many people also showed their interest in such Sany products as the crawler crane, the rotary drilling rig, and the concrete pump.

Sany's participation in this exhibition was a complete success thanks to the enthusiasm and hard work of all from Sany's South American Company, headed by Mr Yong Jiang, General Manager of Sany South America.
