Sany Joined German Engineering Federation (VDMA)

Sany has became a full member of VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau - German Engineering Federation), an influential German equipment manufacturers’ association. On July 7, 2011, VDMA GM Joachim Schmid and Mr. Popp visited the headquarters of Sany Germany in Cologne. They congratulated Mr. He Dongdong, Chairman of Sany Germany, on Sany’s enrollment in VDMA and expressed their confidence in Sany Germany’s success in Germany. Sany’s joining into the organization indicates that the manufacturing level of “made by Sany” has been recognized by an authoritative institution in Germany, the world's manufacturing powerhouse.

Sany Germany has opened its industrial park in Bedburg on June 20th. It is 24.8 hectares in area, including an equipment manufacturing plant, a R&D center and a training center. Business of Sany Germany is to radiate the whole European market. After production starts, it will be able to produce 3000 units of machines each year. Currently, 80% of Sany Germany employees are from Germany and other European countries. Sany Germany is committed to developing products in Germany that fully meet European standard. It is also one of the key factors that qualifies Sany for VDMA membership.

Based in Frankfurt, VDMA is a key association service provider in Europe. It represents an engineering industry network of nearly 3000 companies in Europe. VDMA members include many well-known European construction machinery manufacturers. The requirements on applicant companies are quite high and strict.
