Bobcat has launched the new TR38160 rotary telehandler which replaces the company’s previous TR35160 model. The new TR38160 telehandler now offers a higher maximum lifting capacity of 3.8 tonne compared to 3.5 tonne in the TR35160 and a maximum lifting height of 15.7 m.
The TR38160 is the smallest model in the range of four Bobcat rotary telehandlers offering lifting capacities from 3.8 to 5.0 tonne. Unlike the TR38160 model, which features a two-section telescopic boom, the TR45190, TR50210 and TR40250 models have three-section booms, offering maximum lifting heights of 18.7, 20.5 and 24.5 m, respectively.
Equally adept for rough terrain applications in the building, civil engineering and industrial markets, the Bobcat rotary telehandler models complement the existing Bobcat range of 13 rigid frame telehandlers with lift capacities from 2.2 to 4.0 tonne and lift heights from 5.2 to 17.4 m.
Increased Versatility
Like the other models in the rotary range, the standard configuration of the new TR38160 telehandler is man platform ready for use with a choice of 10 different man platform models. The latter form part of a complete line of attachments for use with the TR38160 telehandler, including extension jibs, buckets and pallet forks. Versatility is further increased by the increased lifting capacity of the TR38160 which allows the use of the machine with the 3.8 tonne winch with cable guide, ensuring smoother and faster operation.
The comprehensive choice of attachments for the TR38160, TR45190, TR50210 and TR40250 rotary telehandlers allows them to offer all the operational advantages of a rigid-frame telescopic handler combined with those of a light and versatile rotating crane.
The 360o (for the TR50210, TR40250 and TR45190) or 400o (for the TR38160) rotating capability of the Bobcat rotary telehandlers allows the machines to serve the needs of an entire site from just one position. Capable of being set up in a matter of minutes, they offer exceptional stability for lifting heavy materials either vertically up to a roof or horizontally onto the edge of an excavated site, reducing construction time and costs and increasing safety and efficiency on site.
