Sany Heavy Industry Enters FT Global 500, Becoming First in Chinese Construction Machinery Industry

July 1, British Financial Times(FT) released its Global 500 list for 2011. For the first time, Sany Heavy Industry enters into Global 500 as the 431st with the market capitalization of $21.584 billion. It is the first Chinese construction machinery company that enters into FT Global 500.
 

Xiang Wenbo, the president of Sany Heavy Industry, said the key point of supporting Sany's market capitalization is the achievements, growth, and profitability that Sany possesses. According to the statistics, during the last five years, Sany sales scale grows almost 10 times, and the profit increases 20 times. According to plan, by the time of 2015, Sany's sales scale will achieve over RMB 300 billion, enabling Sany enter into the list of Fortune Global 500.
