XCMG RT Series wheeled cranes enter global market

As an emerging industry, the rough terrain wheeled crane is XCMG’s brand new product targeting the high-end market in both Europe and US. At the end of December last year, XCMG initiated CE Accreditation of the rough terrain wheeled crane, and it obtained CE Accreditation granted by TUV Germany six months later, which laid a solid foundation for its entry to Europe and other overseas markets.

In addition, XCMG’s rough terrain cranes can be operated with outriggers, which are not inferior to the operation capacity of vehicle cranes in the fixed sites. With the unique tire-supporting operation feature, rough terrain cranes can be operated in a tiny place to easily complete the tasks that vehicle cranes cannot do. The super driving performance with heavy load enables rapid hoisting and transfer.

Reliability - XCMG’s rough terrain cranes enjoy superb dynamic performance thanks to Cummins electronic control engine that is imported with original packaging, ZF auto transmission and KESSLER vehicle axle; the serviceability and reliability are guaranteed by the hydraulic system that is developed by Germany Rexroth; the mature CAN fieldbus control system, fault diagnosis device and alarm device maintain a safe and highly efficient operation. The digital prototype that is developed with special software, professional analysis in a simulation mode, thousands of times tests of cranes, comprehensive system testing, and 4000 – kilometer chassis driving tests have proved the safety and reliability of tough terrain cranes. World-class low-pressure auto braking technology and hydraulic double circuit disc brakes are used. When the system pressure is lower than the set value, the automatic brake control will begin to work so as to ensure the operation safety to the maximum extent.
