SANY Sales in Thailand Exceed 1500 Units of Equipment Several Products' Market Shares Rank No.1

On July 5th, at the 39th anniversary ceremony of the establishment of Sino-Thailand diplomatic relations, SANY’s Asian-Pacific General Manager Xie Feng told the press that SANY had sold more than 1,500 construction machinery products in Thailand since its entrance to Thailand’s market. The sales volume is on rise year by year. The year 2013 witnessed more than 3 billion THB.

Xie Feng said that the outstanding sales performance in Thailand should be attributed to the high quality of SANY’s products as well as to the close tie between China and Thailand. Taking advantage of the anniversary ceremony, SANY, co-operating with Bank of China’s Bangkok Branch and Charoen Pokphand, held a “Teresa Teng’s Scene Concert — Dream Realized in Thailand” in the Chinese Culture Center in Bangkok. The concert aroused great concern from all walks of society. Chinese ambassadress to Thailand Chu Qinglin, the management from China-invested companies in Thailand and leaders of enterprises and institutions such as the Cultural Office of the embassy attended the concert.

Xie Feng explained that there were two reasons to hold activities like the concert. One was to thank China-invested companies in Thailand and many local companies for their support towards SANY. Besides, Teresa Teng was of great significance as a symbol of Chinese culture, which would have an active influence on the culture exchanges between China and Thailand.

It’s said that SANY’s market share in the field of crane truck and concrete mixer truck in Thailand has ranked No.1 in two consecutive years. In 2012, SANY entered the Thailand market and sold 100 excavators. In 2013, the number was over 200. In the same year, its sales volume exceeded 3 billion THB. (By Li Bo)
