One Call ordered 90 JCB telehandlers in a ￡5 million investment

UK based rental company One Call Hire has taken delivery of 90 JCB telehandlers in a deal worth £5 million.

Supplied through JCB’s dealer Greenshields JCB, the order comprises of 3.5 tonne 535-95s and four tonne 540-140 and 540-170 Loadall telehandlers with lift heights of 9.5, 14 and 17 metres respectively. All models have been fitted with JCB’s Tier 4i/ Stage IIIB Ecomax engines which provide increased efficiency and improved fuel consumption.

One Call Hire commercial & sales director Tom Gleeson, said: “We chose JCB for this major telehandler investment due to the reliability of the products, the excellent relationship with our dealer Greenshields JCB and the value of the JCB brand among our customer base. We also recognise the importance of sustainability and the environment so fuel and emissions reductions are of huge significance for us on key inner city sites. Equally crucial are the cost savings we can provide for our customers by running fuel-efficient equipment.”

The company operates from eight locations throughout the south of England and teams up with Nixon Hire for contracts north of Leeds to provide national coverage. The new telehandlers will join the company’s existing fleet of 90 JCB telehandlers. (Source: Vertikal.net)
