Russian Presidential Representative Visits SANY Hoping SANY Set up Plants in Russia

“You have many terrific products and you have relied on your own innovation, which is impressive. In Moscow, SANY's products were used for the building of the Moscow Federal Building, which is the tallest building in Europe. Your products are very much liked by the Russian market. Now Russia is implementing massive residential building programs. There is a huge demand for SANY's products. We hope that SANY could achieve greater development in Russia.”

On May 15, Mr. Babichi, the plenipotentiary representative of the Russia president for the Volga River region, visited Changsha, heading a delegation of over ten provincial leaders from that region. During his visit to Changsha, accompanied by executive deputy governor Mr. Chen Zhaoxiong, Mr. Babichi paid a visit to SANY. Mr. Tang Xiuguo, president of SANY Group, briefed the guests on SANY Group, after which his guests expressed unreserved praises for the development achieved by the company and hoped that the company could make investments in Russia.

SANY currently is a major player in the Russian market, with numerous customers. The company achieved over 30 million USD worth of sales in the market in 2012 and its concrete pumping machinery enjoys a market share of 20% in that market. The company held more optimistic forecasts for the Russian market for 2013, when its sales is expected increase by three folds, up to 100 million USD.

During his one-day visit to the company, Mr. Babichi and his delegation were offered a tour to SANY's exhibition hall, a workshop which is the biggest in Asia, and a banquet, when they watched performances staged by SANY's employees. The formal and informal talks between the hosts and guests had obviously forged a new friendship. Director Deng Haijun of the Manufacturing Department of the Concrete Pumping Machinery BU gave a commemorative share certificate issued by SANY as a gift to Mr. Babichi.

Mr. Babichi and his delegation received an interview by major media in Changsha, in which he said, “It is not a coincidence that we have chosen to visit several companies including SANY. They are influential companies in the industry and well-known in Russia. Currently Russia is undergoing a massive building drive for residential buildings and products from these companies are exactly what we need. We hope that through this visit, substantial cooperative ties could be established between us and these companies.”

When asked about SANY, Mr. Babichi commented, “SANY is not only a leading company in the construction machinery industry in Changsha, China, but also in the world. In Moscow, SANY's products were used for the building of the Moscow Federal Building, which is the tallest building in Europe. Your products are very much liked by the Russian market. Currently Russia is undergoing a massive building drive for residential buildings. I believe SANY will have a brighter future in Russia.”

The Moscow Federal Building is located on the bank of the Moscow River, in the western side of Moscow. It is dubbed the tallest building in Europe, the tallest reinforced concrete building in the world, and is a landmark building in Moscow.

The contractor of the building purchased SANY's trailer-mounted concrete pumps for work on the building. In a trial pumping effort, the HBT80C1818DIII trailer-mounted concrete pump, which was switched on for the first time, successfully pumped 100 cubic meters of number B80 concrete to a height of 120 meters, at a temperature of minus 22 degree Celsius and the customer was amazed.
