Hitachi releases new compact excavator

Hitachi Construction Machinery has released a new range of mini excavators Zaxis-5, including ZX33U-5, ZX38U-5, ZX48U-5, ZX55U-5 and ZX65USB-5. Machines feature high level of precision, performance and power.

The new Hitachi excavators are suit a diverse number of applications, including construction, landscaping, material handling, scrap recycling, demolition and etc.

Compact swing radius and precise movement provide smooth and quick controllability even in challenging applications.

New mini-excavators feature a strengthened frame structure for a long life and enhanced safety. Compared with the previous models new excavators performance has increased by an average of 2.75% and the fuel economy by 11.5%.

Like Hitachi mid-size excavators, new models also have power mode and eco-mode to optimize performance and fuel efficiency.

All five new mini excavators are powered by Yanmar Stage IIIA engines with electronic control units (ECU), which helps to reduce fuel consumption around 21% lower in the case of the ZX33 and 15% on the ZX38-5. (Source: Main Pump)
