2007 Tax Payment List unveiled, Sany Group ranked 8th in tax payment in general equipment manufacturing

The "List of 2007 Chinese Top 100 Tax Payers" was unveiled recently. As a result, Sany Group was ranked 324th with a tax amount of 397.37 million yuan in the "List of 2007 Chinese Top 500 Enterprise Groups in Tax Payment". In the "List of Chinese Top 10 Independent Enterprise Groups of 16 Industries in Tax Payment" released concurrently, Sany was ranked eighth in general equipment manufacturing; and in the "List of Chinese Top 100 Private Enterprises in Tax Payment", Sany was ranked 67th.

It was reported that the lists were jointly released by the State Taxation Administration and China Taxation (magazine) for the eighth consecutive time. In the "List of 2007 Chinese Top 500 Independent Enterprises in Territorial Tax Payment", the amount of territorial tax paid by the 500 Chinese independent enterprises amounted to 940.757 billion yuan, accounting for 19.02% of the national tax revenue in the year. Of the Top 500, Daqing Oil Field, China Construction Bank, Hunan Zhongyan Industry, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and China Development Bank were ranked top 5 in the "List of 2007 Chinese Top 500 Independent Enterprises in Territorial Tax Payment". Real estate developers held the largest share of the "List of Chinese Top 100 Private Enterprises in Tax Payment", and banks were the biggest group of the "List of Top 100 Enterprises in Withholding and Remitting of Individual Income Tax". In terms of industry concentration, power and heat production and supply industry contributed the most enterprises to the"List of 2007 Chinese Top 500 Enterprise Groups in Tax Payment".
