Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) stands behind the quality and integrity of its machines with a lifetime warranty on frame and structure components.
Construction jobsites demand durable machines and Volvo guarantees their machines will withstand demanding worksite conditions or they will make it right, repairing or replacing the frame or other structural components should a defect occur in material or workmanship. The lifetime frame and structure limited warranty is available in North America.
Products covered under the frame and structure warranty include articulated haulers, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders / compact track loaders, motor graders, soil and asphalt compactors, and select excavators.* The warranty covers the machine frame and other key components such as boom, arm or articulation joint based on the machine.
Volvo equipment is constructed of high-quality materials, exacting standards and quality workmanship to deliver unsurpassed frame and structure longevity and durability. The strength of Volvo equipment frames and structures results from the use of high tensile steel, extensive durability testing, welding standards, large cross sections on booms and heavy duty X-shaped frame undercarriages that properly distribute forces for a longer life cycle.
"Engineering design and manufacturing expertise combine to provide durable frames and structures, all of which are designed and built for hard work and longevity. The warranty provides additional assurance of the Volvo commitment to quality,” says Sejong Ko, product manager, excavators, Volvo Construction Equipment.
The lifetime frame and structure warranty applies to the initial machine owner and is non-transferrable. A minimal activation fee of $250 USD is required to register for this program for all eligible models, excluding skid steer loaders and compact track loaders. (Source: rockanddirt.com)
