Liebherr-Werk Telfs GmbH has been selected by the Turkish General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works DSI (Türkiye Devlet Su İşleri), to supply a total of 130 Liebherr PR 754 Litronic crawler tractors to modernise its fleet of equipment. On Ankomak 2014, the Turkish construction machinery trade fair that was held in May in Istanbul (Turkey), Liebherr announced, that the 130 machines will be delivered by the end of 2015. The Turkish General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works DSI is the primary state agency responsible for the overall utilisation of the country's water resources. An important field of activity is preventive flood control. Numerous crawler tractors are employed alongside other earthmoving machines when building dams and flood protection dykes and when realising infrastructure measures and general earthworks.
