ILA 2014: Top-level politicians visiting Liebherr-Aerospace’s stand

On May 20, 2014, the first day of this year’s ILA Berlin Airshow in Berlin (Germany), German Federal Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel, Alexander Dobrindt, German Federal Minister of Transport, and Dr. Dietmar Woidke, Minister-President of the German federal state of Brandenburg, visited Liebherr-Aerospace’s stand. Dr. h.c. Willli Liebherr, President of the Supervisory Board of Liebherr-International AG, welcomed the guests and informed them about Liebherr’s activities in the field of aviation.

During his tour of ILA, Sigmar Gabriel, German Federal Minister of Economy, also visited Liebherr-Aerospace’s stand. Willi Liebherr showed and explained him various exhibits. At the air show, the company is presenting components and systems from the product fields air management, flight control and actuation as well as landing gear for planes and helicopters. German Federal Minister of Defense, Dr. Ursula von der Leyen, was also very impressed with the products on display. She visited Liebherr’s stand on the second day of ILA.
