Zoomlion Honored at Second China's Outstanding Charity Contribution Awards

Zoomlion was recently named the recipient of an award at the Second China's Outstanding Charity Contribution Awards hosted by the China Charity Federation. 
China's Outstanding Charity Contribution Awards are organized and assessed by the China Charity Federation, with a winner selected once every five years. A total of four awards are presented, namely China's Outstanding Charity Contribution (Individual) Award, China's Outstanding Charity Contribution (Government Department) Award, China's Outstanding Charity Contribution (Organization) Award and China's Outstanding Charity Contribution (Project) Award. 
In 2003, Zoomlion teamed up with the Hunan Charity Federation, Hunan Jingshi Television Channel and the Xiaoxiang Morning Herald to co-sponsor the "Use Love to Alter Destinies" project aimed at helping students and received the Project Award at the First China's Outstanding Charity Contribution Awards. Zoomlion has been involved with this charity for more than 20 years, and every year the company makes contributions to the project, encourages donations from the community and accepts public oversight. Zoomlion has donated a total of RMB 14 million to the "Use Love to Alter Destinies" project, making it the project's largest corporate donor and the biggest financial supporter of students. In twelve years, the project has raised more than RMB 80 million from public donations and helped more than 21,000 college freshmen from poor backgrounds successfully attend college. The "Use Love to Alter Destinies" project has grown to become the most influential student aid project in China.
Zoomlion has always upheld its views on and sense of strong corporate social responsibility, which involves "caring for staff, being public-spirited, protecting the environment and giving back to society." The company resolutely fulfills its responsibilities and obligations of giving back to society by repeatedly participating in events related to earthquake relief and raising charitable donations, launching annual events as part of the "Use Love to Alter Destinies" project to help one million students and continuously getting involved in internal relief and volunteer activities. Zoomlion's many years of charitable activities in the community continue to have a huge positive impact and led to praise from all sectors of society and government.
