Manitowoc launches new boom truck series

Manitowoc has launched the new boom truck series National NBT which includes three models of different capacity: National NBT14 with 14 ton capacity, National NBT15 with 15 ton capacity and National NBT16 with 16 ton capacity, respectively.

Each crane is equipped with a three section main boom length 18.2 m. This boom is the longest in its size range and allows more lifts without using the jib. However a 6 meter single-section jib is available as an option. National Series cranes also feature radio remote control as standard. On the remote control there are the engine start/stop switches, emergency stop lever and throttle controls.

New boom trucks are equipped with three-position outriggers and rear stabilizers ASH, as well as an optional single front outrigger. Outriggers feature a motion alarm and monitoring control system. (Source: Main pump)
