Liebherr exhibits truck-mounted concrete pumps at bauma

At the 2013 Bauma, the Liebherr Group is presenting exhibits from the product programme of concrete pump manufacturer Waitzinger, which it acquired in October 2012. From 2013 on, these products will be sold under the Liebherr name.

Four truck-mounted concrete pumps of the latest type, and also other exhibits, will be seen at the 2013 Bauma. The 41 M5 XXT is extremely compact, with a short wheelbase but without excessive distributor-boom overhang. The 41 M5 XXT is equipped with the THP 140 H pump unit.

Liebherr’s “narrow” support has a single horizontal telescoping movement at the front, and can be swung to the side, whereupon the telescoping element for the front support is partially concealed in a cutout in the rear support. In the XXT support version the long rear swing-out base is attached to the same pivot point on the boom mounting as the front outrigger base pivot point. This outrigger version is extremely stable and torsionally rigid. The forces exerted by the boom are fed directly into the outrigger supports.
