Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH introduces certified energy management

Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH in Lindenberg, Germany, recently received certification that it has successfully introduced an energy management system in compliance with the global DIN EN ISO 50001:2011 standard. Key to the standard is the continual improvement of an organisation’s energy performance.

The energy management system supplements the environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 that Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH introduced in 2007. The new system will allow a systematic improvement in energy use, energy consumption and energy efficiency, and will entrench awareness of these aspects in the company. The certificate is valid for three years and is reviewed annually.
