Yuchai aims to sell 30,000 marine engines in 2013 Yuchai 2013 Marine Engine Marketing Work Conference held in Guangzhou

On March 31, the 2013 Marine Engine Marketing Work Conference of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. was held in Guangzhou. With the theme of "Lean operation, consolidating foundation, standardizing market and steady growth", the conference set a sales target of 30,000 marine engines in 2013. Present were General Manager Wu Qiwei and Deputy General Manager Wang Limin of Yuchai; Tang Zuoxing, general manager of the Marine Department of Yuchai; leader of Yuchai Lubricant Co., Ltd. and CSR Yuchai Sichuan Engine Co., Ltd.; as well as representatives of distributors at all levels and OEMs.

The domestic macro economic environment in 2013 remains uncertain, it is expected that the demand of the generating unit market will be basically unchanged or increase slightly and the demand of the marine engine market will increase by some 5 percent compared to the previous year, said Tang, adding Yuchai will ensure an annual sales volume of over 30,000 marine engines with the overall idea of "Lean operation, consolidating foundation, standardizing market and steady growth".

Wu acclaimed the achievements made by the marine sector last year, extending thanks to relevant entities and individuals for their diligent efforts, pledging that Yuchai would conduct in-depth surveys, continue to perfect the spectrum of the marine sector and segments, conduct specialized management and lean operation to ensure that all operation systems support the continuous development of the marine sector.
