Yuchai shows up at CNIB 2013 with fine bus engines

From March 28 to 30, the 13th China Nanjing International Bus & Parts Exhibition (CNIB) took place in Nanjing. As the navigator of the Chinese bus engine market, Yuchai showed up at the exhibition with a strong lineup of eight bus engines.

To display its leading role in the bus market, Yuchai exhibited YC6MK400-40 coach engine, YC6G260N-50, Y6L260N-50, YC4D140N-50 and YC6J190N-50 gas engines, as well as YC6J200 hybrid power system, with emphasis on YC4FA130-40 school bus engine and YC4S150-40 engine. Of these exhibits, YC4S150-40, designed for medium and high-end commercial vehicles, drew close attention from participants and the press.

Yuchai has held the largest share of over 60 percent in the bus industry for 12 consecutive years, with its bus engine brand highly recognized by the market and customers. Yuchai bus engines have enjoyed good reputation in the industry for their professionalism and adaptability. On the morning of March 28, at the 2013 "Lopal" China International Bus Award Ceremony, Yuchai garnered the "Gold Award for Bus Parts" and the "Award for Best New Energy Bus Parts" with elaborately made YC6MK coach engine and YCHPT II hybrid system, thus becoming the biggest winner among engine manufacturers.

There are four main reasons for the continuous lead of Yuchai bus engines in the bus market: Yuchai bus engine brand strategy, leading bus engine technologies, complete engine spectrum and strong service support, said Zhou Chuanwu, deputy general manager of Yuchai Sales Co., Ltd., in an interview.

In recent years, the domestic NG bus market has burgeoned, especially in the costal areas. Stimulated by two major factors: oil-gas price difference and environmental pressure, the NG bus market is expected to maintain fast growth in the coming years. In the first quarter of 2013, Yuchai sold over 5,000 gas engines for buses. In the future, Yuchai will try its best to provide the NG bus market with professional NG engines as well as wholehearted and fast after-sale services, in a bid to consolidate its role as the navigator of the Chinese NG bus engine market.
