SANY's Asphalt Recycling Equipment Helps a Customer to Save over 900,000 RMB in One Month

SANY’s Road Machinery business unit identified the customer need and market and researched the technology for asphalt recovering. They developed the RZS120 asphalt recycling equipment, which, when used alongside the asphalt batching plant, can recycle asphalt from old road surfaces. According to the current market prices for asphalt, a customer can save over 200,000 yuan a day. Through examination by relevant authorities, the quality of recycled asphalt is entirely acceptable.

Soon after the launch of the product, a customer from Jiangsu Province installed the equipment and was able to produce over 9,000 tons of concrete mixture, saving 900,000 yuan in cost.

Asphalt is a derivative product from oil. With the depletion of oil supplies, supply of asphalt is becoming more strained. As it is extremely difficult to separate asphalt from aggregates, in the past, old asphalt surface of roads had to be disposed of when old roads were repaired, causing enormous waste. The market demanded a kind of equipment for the recycling of used asphalt. Under this circumstance, SANY’s Road Machinery business unit did market research, identified this huge market, and developed the equipment.
