Sany Heavy Industry Enters "Top 10 Most Competitive and Trusted Listed Companies" for Third Time

The results of the 4th "Top 10 Most Competitive and Trusted Listed Companies" survey jointly sponsored by Sina.com and the Chinese Securities Journal were announced recently in the City of Nanjing. Sany Heavy Industry was rated one of the "Top 10 Most Valued Listed Companies for Investment". This is the third time Sany entered the top 10 list. Previously in the 2005 and 2006 surveys, SANY was rated the "Top 10 Listed Companies with the Most Growth Potential" and the "Top 10 Listed Companies for Effective Share-Holding Reform" respectively. All these honours won serves as an indication that Sany has earned the recognition from experts in the field and investors with its good business performance and development potential.

In the general climate of global financial crisis in 2008, Sany's sales revenue surged by 50.3% year-on-year to 13.745 billion RMB yuan, among which non-concrete machinery sales rose by 71.79%. With the product portfolio being further optimized, Sany has turned from a purely concrete equipment supplier into a comprehensive construction equipment manufacturer. This is a main reason why Sany appeals to experts and investors in the field.

The winners were selected on the basis of a survey conducted by the Chinese Securities Journal and Sina.com, in the form of a series of questionnaires, which were answered by small and medium-sized investors, institutional investors, experts on investment banks, and research institutions. The votes collected by Sina.com and the Chinese Securities Journal had a 50% weight in the final count; and votes by institutional investors accounted for another 50%..
