On November 24th, Zoomlion and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (hereinafter abbreviated as "WWL") formally signed a "global strategic cooperation framework agreement", officially establishing a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two companies.
Prior to the signing ceremony, the two parties held a comprehensive and friendly informal discussion. WWL Group CEO Mr. Connor and WWL China chairman Mr. Leroi joined in extending a warm welcome upon the arrival of Zoomlion senior director and general manager of overseas companies, Zhang Jianguo.
Senior Director Zhang Jianguo repeatedly expressed his gratitude for Zoomlion's support whilst highlighting the direction and goals of Zoomlion's overseas business development. He also noted that outstanding distribution services are quickly becoming one of the most important components of product competitiveness. He went on to voice his hope that WWL would keep intensifying its efforts to help Zoomlion achieve its overseas business development objectives.
Wallenius CEO Mr. Connor stated that his company’s first-rate distribution services, comprehensive distribution network, and advanced distribution management would work even more closely together to promote in-depth cooperation in the area of distribution transportation.
Following the discussion, Zhang Jianguo and Mr. Connor signed a "global strategic cooperation framework agreement" to further deepen cooperation in such areas as distribution network construction, PDI testing, pier construction, and warehouse management, aligning the respective brand strategies and superior resources of both parties so as to enhance the overall competitiveness of Zoomlion products.
The signing of this strategic agreement has been an important step toward the full development of WWL's technology and resources with an eye to improving the service quality of maritime distribution, expanding Zoomlion's global distribution network, and enhancing the core competitiveness of Zoomlion products. The eventual fruition of this collaborative effort will be a win-win for the strategic objectives of both parties. (Source: Zoomlion)
