Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony was held for SANY Germany Industrial Park

May 12th, SANY Germany Industrial Park in North Rhine-Westphalia held the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony. The total investment of this project is estimated as more than 100 million Euros, it is the largest investment from China made in Europe so far.

ChunXian Zhang, the Secretary of CPC Hunan Province; CanRong Ma, the Ambassador of China in German; Jurgen Rüttgers,Minister-President of North Rhine-Westphalia,; WenGen Liang, Board Chairman of SANY Heavy Industry; Wenbo Xiang, President of SANY Heavy Industry attended this event and laid down the very first stone of this industrial park.

CanRong Ma congratulated the large investment project, he commented 'North Rhine-Westphalia is the industrial center of Europe; it obtains great number of professional workers and huge market opportunity, SANY set the right strategy and made a good choice'.

Rüttgers said during his interview 'SANY establishing the R&D center and production base in North Rhine-Westphalia is the signal of hope in this economy recession; it is also a signal of friendship between German and China. The boundary between these two great nations is no longer closed, we will get through this economy crisis together.'

SANY Germany Industrial Park covers 24.8 acres, and will be built in 3 phrases, including a manufacturing factory of industrial equipment, a R&D center, and a training base.
