Machine test – Surprisingly Good Performance!

I have previously tested two excavators from Sunward, one on 4.7 tonnes and one of 22 tons. Then named machines Goran's in Sweden, but are now sold in manufacturer's name Sunward.

Cabin

The machine has a spacious cabin with good visibility and also a good place for both legs and feet, even if it is much photographed. You can flip up the front window with a simple grip, really good actually. A tip to the Sunward is to fix a small cover over the box, to prevent it rains into the cab when the box is raised.

The noise level in the cab may be approved; in fact I have run the machinery of the more well-known brands that have higher noise levels. Otherwise, work well in terms of heating, air conditioning and seat with good options. The flat floor means easy cleaning.

Good is also a clear display, while I am less happy with the placement of the panel of buttons for wipers, lights and more. It should be moved as it collides with the buttons when you are resting your arms on the armrest.

Hydraulics

If we go over to the hydraulics so the machine is quiet when running. No noise or howl that may occur on some machines.

I experienced hydraulics as very soft and pliable, and speed, there when needed. Here I put a disclaimer; the test machine had no tilt rotor mounted.

With rotortilt adherence can be affected if you do not have the opportunity to fine-tune the hydraulics for the extra weight.

I ran the machine for two days and it was good in the hands of the box. I'm extra hard when I consider the hydraulics because it is so important for the driver that this works and for the driver to feel good after a workday.

Engine / Powertrain

The machine is powered by an engine from Yanmar to 51 kilowatts at 2500 revolutions and has a torque of 183 Newton meters. The strength of the engine sufficient to drive both hydraulics and tracked vehicles. The noise level around the machine was approved by the trades that I had with me during the test.

Tracked vehicle of Steel has rubber pads bolted to tape the plates. A smart design. It is a fact that one has a more stable machine with steel combs, while the rubber pads make it more gentle on the surface.

With two körhatigheter and a maximum speed of 4.5 km / h it becomes clear approval for this type of machine.

Service / Daily supervision

SWE 60 is a very service-friendly machine, with a big engine rear door that makes it easy to access the most around the engine.

Hydraulpaketet are easily accessible on the right side during a hatch. Although filters are well positioned, extra plus for refueling pump. It is good for the environment not to hold on and SPLASH ABOUT with a lot of pounds, which is quite common for this type of machinery.

With a supporting roll in half so pleasant is tracked to clean after work, something that is not always the case.
