JCB has won a huge order from the Brazilian government for 1,000 of its vehicles to improve the country's rural road network.
Brazil's Ministry of Agrarian Development has ordered the backhoe loaders in a deal worth more than £40m.
The machines will be delivered throughout 2013 and will be used to ensure food for sale is able to reach markets much quicker because of a better road infrastructure.
The loaders will be made at JCB's $100m (£67m) factory in Sao Paulo, which was opened by David Cameron in September last year and where an additional 80 jobs will be created, but the contract will also support British jobs at the company's UK factories.
Transmissions and axles will be supplied by JCB Transmissions in Wrexham, while 12,000 hydraulic cylinders will be provided by the company's headquarters in Rocester.
