November 23, Shantui New Product Launch Ceremony was held at bauma China 2010. As a leading enterprise in China bulldozer industry, Shantui launched multiple new products including full hydraulic bulldozers, pavers, graders, road rollers, and concrete machinery. Chairman of CCMA Qi Jun, honorary president of China Construction Machinery Association Han Xuesong, Board Chairman Zhang Xiuwen, Acting General Manager Wang Fei, Vice General Manager Li Dianhe, Vice General Manager Wang Wenchao, and Technical Supervisor Xu Gang attended the ceremony. Shantui dealers, user representatives, and media workers altogether over 300 persons attended the ceremony.

The SD10YE bulldozer exhibited at the ceremony will be distributed to EU markets, and the product has passed national authorization and CE certification. The product adopts electric controlled engine and meets the 3 stage EU and US emission standards for non-road mechanical equipment; the dual-pump, dual-motor variable displacement closed hydraulic travel system is capable of stepless speed regulation and slewing without moving; the optional universal blade is especially suitable to the golf site and city work where flexible operation is needed.

As the new business of Shantui, the concrete product business gets rapid development and turns mature quickly. The sales volume grows over 4 times compared with that of 2009. Chutian Concrete Machinery Division developed independently concrete pump with different boom length, and concrete mixer truck with different chassis and capacity, trailer pump, truck-mounted pump, and mixing station. The products have won many honors and have been exported in large amount. The key product HBT8016R concrete trailer pump adopts full hydraulic directional control technology and there are two collocations for your choice: automatic and manual switch of high/low pressure, the major electric control elements adopts originally imported German parts. The concrete mixer truck has good dynamic property, maneuverability, comfort, economy and reliability. The 51m Shantui HJC5391THB concrete boom pump truck adopts the power system of world famous chassis, featuring strong power and stable performance with centralized lubrication and efficient cooling system, max. hopper volume of 600L, arc inwall design; direct drive of hydraulic motor, simple drive structure and easy maintenance.

The SRP135 asphalt concrete paver is the strategic product with new economic growth point for Shantui’s multi-element development. The product adopts 182 KW Weichai power WP7 eclectric control engine, which can meet various kinds of heavy load condition; the intellectual integrated control system and CAN-BUS technology and CAN high precision automatic leveling system; 0~350mm horizontal paving thickness; and the longitudinal thickness can be set according to requirements within 13.5m. Thus it can achieve efficient and quick paving operation under various work conditions.

The large SD52-5 crawler bulldozer has the largest horsepower among homemade bulldozers. The product is specially developed according to market needs, which is mainly used in large earthmoving operation like mining and water conservation. The equipment can be applicable under more tough work environment so as to greatly improve the productivity and reduce the operation cost. 

At present, Shantui insists on the industrial structure adjustment and upgrade, and independent innovation, targeting at the improvement of technical level and brand competition and making more contribution for the development of China’s construction machinery industry. Especially that the bulldozer products keep the absolute advantage in domestic bulldozer market and have much influence in international markets. Shantui bulldozer has become the mark of homemade bulldozer. In addition, the parts business also gets rapid development; Shantui has the construction machinery and parts industrial cluster with international competition. Other products of Shantui also get rapid development: Shantui road machinery has edged into the top 3 in the industry; the newly-started concrete business gets rapid development in one year. And the sales income in the first 3 quarters is over 10 billion Yuan, which is a great leap in Shantui’s history.

The new products Shantui launched at the ceremony includes concrete machinery like C150 80b/hJ mixing tower, and SR30T-3 tire road roller, SR20-5 single drum road roller, SG18-5 grader, SRP135 paver, SD52 bulldozer, SD10YE full hydraulic bulldozer, etc. In recent years, Shantui insists on the strategy of “follow the global lead, digest and absorb, innovation and development”, and invest more in the scientific research, and master the core technologies in accordance with “12th five-year plan”.
