Liebherr Sunderland is top employer

Special honour was recently given to Liebherr Sunderland Works Ltd., winning a top accolade at the regional final of the prestigious National Apprenticeship Awards 2013. The firm won in the category "Medium Employer of the Year." At the national finals the company was one of the three shortlisted companies in its category, receiving an award as a "National Highly Commended Medium Employer of the Year 2013".

"This award is a fantastic achievement and statement to the 27 local apprentices we employ across a variety of engineering disciplines", said Ralph Sälzer, Managing Director of Liebherr Sunderland Works Ltd.

This recognition as top employer in the training of apprentices proves the company's current path to be right. Liebherr Sunderland Works Ltd. has continuously increased the range of apprenticeships on offer in recent years.
