SANY Heavy Industry Honored "Top Ten Public Companies with Best Fulfillment of Social Responsibility

At the recent Summit and Awarding Ceremony of Top 100 Public Companies with the Highest Value on the Main Board 2007, SANY Heavy Industry capsulated such major honorary titles as "Top Ten Public Companies with Best Fulfillment of Social Responsibility", "Top Ten Management Team on the Main Board", "Top Hundred Public Companies with Highest Value on the Main Board" and "Top 100 Secretary to the Board Chairman". SANY Heavy Industry's embrace of the most honors made itself a star in the summit.

According to He Zhenlin, SANY Group VP, June 17 marked the first day of the full circulation era for China's stock market, when authorities lifted the embargo on non-tradable shares up to 560 million of SANY Group. Therefore, SANY Group was considered to the spearhead of the reform of China's stock market. Then SANY issued a notice announcing extension of the lock-up period of two more years, to maintain the stable and sound development of China's stock market. It followed the advocation by Liang Wengen, SANY Board Chairman, which interprets "National Responsibility Outweighs Corporate Benefits".

The present representatives of various listed companies spoke highly of SANY's extension of the lock-up period. They held that such demonstration would influence the behavior of non-tradable share holders, helping significantly relieve the stress on the market, relax the antagonism growing among individual and other institutional investors and work on stability of the market. It was an acknowledgement by the capital market and the mass stock investors as SANY were crowned the "Top Ten Public Companies with Best Fulfillment of Social Responsibility".

The selection event was jointly sponsored by Security Times and China Southern Fund Management, aiming to uncover top public companies with excellent financial performance, superb management, top-notch managerial staff, brand, strategy and capability to create value for shareholders. Companies awarded in the professional and grass-roots selection stood out by financial scoring, corporate governance scoring and public and institutional votes.
