Liebherr launches wheel loaders for material handling

Liebherr has launched a special-purpose wheel loaders for industrial load handling. The new products are exhibiting at the 2013 Bauma.

The industrial lift arms developed for this type of work are available immediately as a same-price alternative to the standard lift arms for the Liebherr L 514 to L 580 models.

The industrial high-lift arms for recycling work and timber handling have advantages when loading and compacting loose bulk material in high truck bodies, for instance the 4 m high Walking Floor containers.

For the new IIIB generation of wheel loaders, Liebherr can supply a new control lever incorporating a miniature joystick. It enables the driver to control hydraulic add-on tools that call for more than one working movement easily safely with the thumb. (Source: liebherr-bauma.com)
