Wartsila President Martin Wernli visits YZMP

On February 23, 2012, headed by Dr. Martin Wernli, president of Wartsila Switzerland Co., Ltd. and Urs Huwiler, patent director of Wartsila China Co., Ltd., a delegation of three members visited Yuchai Zhuhai Marine Power Co., Ltd. (YZMP) for an exchange on and an investigation into engine manufacturing. Leaders, including Jiang Shihong, chairman and general manager of YZMP and Hu Xuenan, executive general manager of YZMP, received the guests.

At the assembling & commissioning workshop, the delegation visited and investigated the machining, assembling & commissioning workshop, conferring with Jiang on the manufacturing of existing models and the technical R & D of future models. According to Jiang, YZMP completed the technical transformation of models such as W6－X35, W7－X35, W6－X40 and 6RT-flex48T－D in 2011 as part of the effort to output more than four models within 2012. Currently, three W6-X35 units and a 6RT-flex48T-D unit are being assembled intensely on the production site. 　

Martin Wernli admired YZMP's technical transformation and production capacity, looking forward to further cooperation in technology introduction and technical R & D. He added YZMP will be the first low-speed engine plant of W-X35 and W-X40 models, and the most important manufacturer of the model in the global low-speed engine industry.
