Debuting Earth Moving Machinery: Taking on American Markets

Zoomlion's Earth Moving Machinery Division uses high-performance quality testing equipment and measures, and has established a complete product quality assurance system. The company uses a three-axis coordinate-measuring machine (CMM) made by DEA of Italy, a fault detection center for hydraulic systems by Japan's Komatsu, a wheel body static sealing test bed, infrared stress and durability testing, as well as other first-rate equipment tests and advanced testing procedures. Zoomlion has developed strict quality control procedures and has standardized whole-machine-performance testing grounds for every bulldozer, excavator, and loader to ensure each product's performance quality.
Through large-scale technological upgrades for everything from molding and processing to heat treatment and assembly, process layouts have become more scientific and rational, and the technology has been updated. Metal forming companies combine pre-treatment of large panels, blanking, molding, and welding and use a variety of advanced imported equipment that completely satisfy sheet cutting and molding quality requirements for engineering machinery. A large amount of imported equipment in the processing workshop guarantees the dimensional accuracy of parts, while powerful heat treatment ensures inherent quality and reliability. Advanced welding equipment and the welding process guarantee the reliability and durability of structural parts in engineering machinery, and the scientific and rational final assembly line and sub-assembly lines—which combine assembly, tuning, and testing—create a powerful production capacity for engineering machinery.
This Zoomlion Earth Moving machinery has been developed to break into the South American market, and the full range of earth moving products that debuted at this year's Conexpo—which covers demand at different levels of the American market—will become another means of Zoomlion's expansion into the American market, following in the footsteps of the its heavy machinery and concrete machinery.

ZD160-3 Bulldozer 
 

1. Advanced Technology: Its Weichai WD10G178E25 turbocharged diesel engine can operate without any adjustments below an altitude of 3,000m.  The six-sided sealed steel cab allows for a broad field of vision, has anti-roll capabilities, as well as low shock and low noise exposure. The entire layout is more ergonomic and greatly improves steering comfort. A variety of equipment can be replaced to meet the needs of different users.

ZE220ELC Excavator

1. The ZE220ELC Excavator uses a high-powered engine with high operating efficiency and was developed to accommodate the soft soil of South America.
2. Energy-Efficient: The drive-by-wire model parameters have been adjusted, and hydraulic and engine powers have been calibrated to provide greater work efficiency and an average fuel consumption of 16-20 L/h.
3. Safety and Stability: The main and plug valves' structures have been improved, and additions have been made to the job device and shock units. The structure of the driver's cab has been enhanced and strengthened, including configurable headlights, a walking alarm, safety belt, and rear-view mirrors, with an optional added protective screening and mounted rear camera, all of which comply with CE requirements.
4. Numerous Options: The display is pre-configured with an interface in nine languages (including English, French, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese), and there is a choice of 600mm, 700mm, or 800mm track shoes. Meanwhile, there are South American models adapted to operation in tropical deserts, Middle-Eastern-type rocky conditions (reinforced arm, 0.9 m³ rock bucket), and those of South America's soft soil (standard deployment 1.05 m3 bucket, lengthened belt, 700mm-wide track shoe, optional 2400 mm reinforced arm and 1.2 m³ bucket).

ZE360ESP Excavator 
 

1. The ZE360ESP Excavator comes with a high-powered engine, large-capacity bucket, and high production efficiency, specifically developed for the soft soils of South America.
2. Operating Efficiency: Developed for earth moving work in South America, it comes standard with a 6,150mm swing-boom, 2,550mm short bucket arm, 2.0m³ bucket and 700mm track shoes. A 2.32m³-enlarged bucket can be used for looser materials (density ≤ 1500kg / m³) to provide greater efficiency.
3. Safety and Stability: The structure of the driver's cab has been improved and strengthened with configurable headlights, a walking alarm, safety belt, and rear-view mirrors, with an optional protective screening for the driver's cab and a mounted rear camera, all of which comply with CE requirements.
