YHI project ranks among Guangxi 2012 "100-billion-yuan major sci-tech projects"

According to sources on February 20, "YCK50R heavy-duty mining truck R & D and industrialization", declared by Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) was listed among "100-billion-yuan major scientific and technological projects in 2012" by the Science & Technology Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. 　

As a sub-project of "special vehicle R & D and key technology research" among 100-billion-yuan major scientific and technological projects, the project is aimed to go into the matching technology of heavy-duty mining trucks, reliability design of structural components such as frames and boxes, safety design of braking systems, humanized design and RSC design of driver's cabs, and reliability design of electric control systems and hydraulic systems, master ideas and processes of overall and parts design of heavy-duty mining trucks, accomplish design and development of innovative heavy-duty mining trucks, form industrialization, and comprehensively promote the technological progress and industrialized manufacturing of Guangxi's heavy-duty mining trucks.

YCK50R is a new product developed by YHI after YCK360 wide-body dumper truck, which has broaden YHI's range of horizontal products and filled a gap in heavy-duty mining truck development for YHI.
