YZMP's first engine production heads into home stretch

On the afternoon of September 6, good news came from the assembly & commissioning workshop of Yuchai Zhuhai Marine Power Co., Ltd. (YZMP) that YZMP's first large low-speed marine & world's first RT-flex35 diesel engine had settled down on its base smoothly. The completion of the procedure marks Yuchai's first engine production has headed into the home stretch. 　

The project serves a gift to Yuchai's 60th anniversary and has drawn close attention from group leaders. Since the project went into production in July, YZMP has taken prompt and independent measures to organize production. Though the construction of the workshop has been basically complete, water, power, gas and network systems have not been deployed in place completely, facilities have yet to be improved, and problems such as experience inadequacy of workers have led to a lot of difficulties in production. However, the workers have never given up, have defined objectives, worked in solidarity and created conditions for production. Bit by bit, the hardware problem has been improved, workers have grown constantly in training, and parts have been allocated in place, and the critical stage of production has come. 　　

Now, all the workers of YZMP are working hard for the launch of the first engine. The world's first RT-flex35 large low-speed marine diesel engine is scheduled to be launched in November as a generous gift to Yuchai's 60th anniversary.
