Yan investigates graduate apartment building construction

On December 26, Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, headed to the construction site of the graduate apartment building to investigate construction progress, requiring the project must be completed perfectly and punctually. Among accompanying leaders were Gu Tangsheng, president of Yuchai Group and Zeng Shiqiang, assistant to chairman of the Board of Yuchai Group  　

With 29 floors and a height of 95 meters, the graduate apartment building is a quality domicile for new employees, which broke ground on February 15, 2011. After 10 months' construction, 26 floors of the main framework have been completed, brick laying works of all floors have been unfolded, and the project is expected to be wrapped up on January 12, 2012.

Yan inspects the decoration of sample houses

The building is about to enter into the stage of comprehensive decoration. Yan went up to the fifth floor and investigated the decoration of several sample houses. He carefully viewed materials of sample houses such as door, window and floor tile, and made more human-oriented proposals on details of decoration of lighting facilities, toilets and air-conditioners. He required that the person in charge and constructor of the project should tighten quality control, should be more human-oriented in room detail design, cater to the demand of the young and construct the building in accordance with the highest standards and with the most scientific concept.

Graduate apartment building under construction

The first three floors of the building are for business and leisure purposes. Yan requires the group's person in charge should strictly implement the system of bidding, introduce merchants with the most tremendous strength, and formulate the best system of business management, to create the best shopping conditions for staff.  　

The building is expected to be delivered in July 2012, and the task is urgent and arduous with only seven months left for construction and decoration. Yan repeatedly stressed the project must be completed punctually on the basis of quality assurance to accommodate more than 800 new employees in July 2012. The person in charge and constructor of the project pledge to deliver the project punctually based on Yan's requirements.
