XCMG Ranks 123rd Amongst Top 500 Chinese Enterprises Maintains Leading Industrial Position

The Release of 2011 Top 500 Chinese Enterprises & Summit of Large-scale Corporation in China, jointly hosted by China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association, have been held in Chengdu city on Sep. 3. The list of Top 500 Chinese enterprises has been issued during the meeting, during which XCMG, with the revenue of 66 billion RMB, ranks the 123rd, the 53rd in Top 500 Chinese manufacturing industry, both up by 2 positions compared with those of last year, and continuously grasps the 1st seat in China’s construction machinery industry.

The ranks of Top 500 Chinese Enterprises, released for the tenth year this time, has become the symbol for the all walks of life of Chinese society to observe the status of development of Chinese corporation. From the general perspective, those enterprises listed have demonstrated some stability with a growing scale. The threshold of the nomination in the Top 500 Chinese enterprises has been increased to 14.198 billion RMB from 11.08 billion RMB, up by 28.11% year-on-year, marking the largest stride since the global financial crisis in 2008. Comparative data showcases that the total revenue of the Top 500 Chinese enterprises has also jumped by 31.6% year-on-year, up by 38.67% in total profit, 53.55% in total revenue from overseas business and 38.9% in overseas assets.

Since the year of 2006, the revenue of XCMG has reached 20.2 billion RMB, 30.8 billion RMB, 40 billion RMB, 50.8 RMB and 66 billion RMB respectively in the past consecutive five years, with the constantly improving positions of 191st in 2007, 168th in 2008, 151st in 2009, 125th in 2010 and 123rd in 2011 in the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises accordingly. The market share of XCMG’s nine main engines and three types of fundamental parts ranks the first in China, amongst which the sales volume of truck crane, mid- and large-scale road roller is also the best amongst peers globally. In the first half of this year, the corporate revenue makes the record high again, while consistently maintaining the leading position of products export in China. And, in this year, the XCMG’s rank in the global construction machinery industry list rises up to the seventh in the corporate history, symbolizing its striding forward to the objective of Revenue of A Hundred Billion RMB, Internationalization and World-class in the Twelfth Five-year Plan.
