At 9 a.m. on May 29, Wen Shuxun, the deputy mayor of Changsha, extended cordially his regards to all the front earthquake relief staff from Sany Group on behalf of the city government. He gave high marks to the entire team for their bravery in rescue and relief work , fearless of hardships and danger.

Facing the earthquake, the relief team members who had just returned from the front with yellow ribbons around the wrists, Wen Shuxun expressed his gratitude by a bow, 'Thanks for your hard work, my Sany comrades having coming to Sichuan rescue and relief site!'

At 14:28 on May 12, the Wenchuan earthquake of Sichuan occurred. Later, Sany Group positively responded to the call of the CPC Central Committee and State Council to rapidly assemble 15 sets of mechanized rescue equipment and an earthquake relief team comprising 80 members. They drove 2,500km all the way day and night, started to work fearlessly onsite right after arrival, without rest, and tried their best to get through channels of life and rescue the stranded lives. This reflects a strong sense of social responsibility and mission. Up to now, some rescue teams from Sany are still constructing in the front to provide technical support to the quake areas. Wen Shuxun said that Sany Heavy Industry has established a good image for the industrial staff in Changsha and embodied the spirit of the time, with real actions, also performed Sany's commitment of 'Serving the motherland with industrial growth", The team has set an good example for Changsha citizens.

Tang Xiuguo, president of Sany Group, expressed his thanks for the concern and affirmation on Sany from the Party and Government. His gratitude also went to the employees who risked their lives for quake relief in the front. He said that Sany launched a 'Love Saves Life' activity right away after the earthquake occurred, caring people in the disaster stricken areas.
