Green Success: Yuchai holds 60th anniversary gala

Over the six decades, Yuchai staff immersed themselves in happiness and flew their dreams; over the six decades, Yuchai harvested hope and faced the future. On December 18, Yuchai celebrated its birthday. In the night, Donghua Stadium, the main venue for Yuchai's 60th anniversary celebration is festive and alive with laugher, singing and dazzling light. With the theme of "Green Success", the award and celebration gala for Yuchai's 60th anniversary was staged here.

Flashing gala scene

At eight o'clock sharp, in powerful rhythm, under brilliant light, 400 students lighted up bouquets in hands one by one to make up a dazzling logo for Yuchai's 60th anniversary celebration. To the rhythm, the glistening logo fluctuated, flowed, shuttled and finally formed a shiny star avenue. Yuchai's model workers and meritorious figures in all years and group leaders in the VIP box off the stage walked through the avenue and ascended the stage, when a great birthday cake appeared on the screen. Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, touched a crystal ball in flowers to light the candles in the cake. As the candles were lighted, classic scenes since Yuchai's establishment came out in brilliant fireworks on the scene to constitute a grand scroll of Yuchai's 60 years' development. At the very moment, a pretty girl sang Happy Birthday to You, her clear voice resounding in the air, arousing a cheer of "Happy Birthday", immersing the entire Yuchai in happiness and peace.

The gala includes three chapters. Chapter I "Green Power" was aimed to display green high-tech power of the "Chinese capital of green power". In the rhythm of Sunglow Gestates Hope, the host poetically portrayed the development of Yuchai's green high-tech power. 400 chorus singers affectionately sang "When the first ray of ideal shines in the east, sunglow gestates hope here, you shoulder historical tasks and compose the chapter of business development generation after generation. Young and beautiful dancers danced to the rhythm to display Yuchai's pursuit of and love for green high-tech power.

Partners sing Stick Together

In this chapter, leaders including Yan interpreted Back and Song of Yuchai Constructors to showcase the passion of the management team. Partners sang Stick Together in chorus to demonstrate the deep friendship between partners and Yuchai over the years. The last song China Power set off a wave. "Hey, Yuchai Machinery, green power…" the proud singing reverberated in the sky and struck an accord with the audience…  　

Chapter II "Green Home" narrates the collaboration and love between Yuchai and staff. The LED displays a peaceful and harmonious scene: elderly people perform 100-People Tai Chi and 100-People Kung Fu Fans under verdant trees. The last chorus Yuchai Makes Me Happy sang the voice of Yuchai staff. Performing groups from units under Yuchai performed aerobics and cheer leading to eulogize joyful days in Yuchai's development over the six decades.

Gala highlights

Huaban Dance and Grateful Heart are two special programs, which, in forms of music and rap, lauded Yuchai's brilliant achievements in six sectors over the years and the enterprise's sense of sharing development achievements with the society. The breezy music filled the air with pride, happiness and pleasure. 　

Chapter III "Green Success" displayed Yuchai's ever-changing outlook of Yuchai with its brilliant achievements over the six decades. The host affectionately expressed the wish for Yuchai's great progress in globalization. The powerful rhythm in the dance Brilliant Six Decades reignited the atmosphere, in which dancers shuttled and flowed to form a moving arrow and an extending gauge, symbolizing Yuchai's constant growth. 　

At ten thirty p.m. all performers sang We Are the Pride of China in chorus, "With green smile, we walk towards the green objective and create green power, we are the pride of China…" Passionate dance and singing set off surges of waves. "Yuchai leads the World", "Green development, harmony win-win, Yuchai's future will be better…" 　

Apart from some programs, most songs and dances in the gala were independently created by Yuchai staff, Nanning Art Theatre and Yulin Music and Dance Troupe to show the great love and affection of all Yuchai constructors for the enterprise.

Representatives of outstanding suppliers in 2011 receive awards

Before the gala, outstanding service outlets and outstanding suppliers were awarded. Seven service outlets, including Yulin Luchuan, ranked among "outstanding service outlets in 2011", and 20 enterprises including Bosch ranked among "outstanding suppliers in 2011". In 2011, they are typical representatives of sticking together with Yuchai in its supply and service system.
