During the Bauma China 2012 to be held in Shanghai, China from November 27-30, 2012, Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment will display a wide range of new products for the first time at the exhibition.
Centrestage in the Doosan Heavy display will be the new DX700LC 70 tonne crawler excavator, the top-of-the-range model in the Doosan excavator range. The new DX700LC excavator is designed and built to meet the needs of heavy duty mining and quarrying applications as well as major infrastructure construction projects. It has a modern attractive design and offers several features to give optimum value to the end-user thanks to outstanding productivity, superior comfort, high reliability, durability and maximum uptime.
The DX700LC model will be shown alongside the Doosan DX500LC, DX420LC and DX380LC large excavators, the DH225LC-9 and DX230LC medium sized excavators and the DX60 mini-excavator. Complementing these will be the first showing for the new DXB Breaker Series from Doosan with all six models – the DXB35H, DXB45H, DXB90H, DXB160H, DXB170H and DXB190H – on show.
Doosan will also be exhibiting the new DA40 articulated dump truck (ADT) for the first time at Bauma China. Incorporating over 40 years of expertise in the ADT market and using quality components from world-class suppliers such as Scania, ZF, NAF, Parker and Rexroth, the new Doosan DA40 ADTs is optimised for extreme off-road performance. Powered by the 6-cylinder Scania DC13 Tier 2 diesel engine with a gross power output of 368 kW (500 HP) at 2100 rpm, the new DA40 offers a 10% increase in engine power compared to the previous MT41 model. With a 22% increase in gross torque to 2373 Nm (1750 lb ft) at 1300 rpm, the torque available in the DA40 is 'best in class' in the ADT market.
The Doosan Heavy display will be completed by the first showing of the new generation DL550 wheel loader, the top-of-the-range model in the company's new family of wheel loaders for markets worldwide. With a bucket capacity of 5.4 m3, the DL550 wheel loader is designed to meet a wide range of material-handling needs from loading and transporting granular material (such as sand and gravel) to industrial, mining and quarrying applications.
A key feature of the new DL550 wheel loader is the Tier 2 12.7 litre Scania DC13 turbo-charged, air-to-air intercooled diesel engine, delivering 'best in class' power with a maximum output of 294 kW at 2100 RPM. The high engine power output is combined with new ZF transmissions and several other features that, as well as reducing fuel consumption, provide exceptional performance, high durability, ease of handling and serviceability and significantly enhanced operator comfort. The DL550 will be shown alongside the 503Gold, DL507 and DL501 wheel loader models.
The Bobcat display will include the latest in compact loaders from the company with the first showing at Bauma China of the new generation T770 compact tracked loader and A770 all wheel steer loader. Powered by the 68.6 kW Kubota V3800-DI-T-E3 diesel engine with a rated speed (SAE JI 995 Gross) of 2400 RPM, the T770 and A770 have replaced the T300/T320 and A300 models, respectively. Both new loaders offer higher rated operating capacities and increased engine and hydraulic power, allowing users to take on new, more demanding applications.
The rated operating capacity and tipping load for the T770 compact tracked loader are 1611 kg and 4602 kg, respectively. The T770 loader has an operating weight of 4683 kg. The A770 AWS loader has an operating weight of 4291 kg, a rated operating capacity of 1550 kg and a tipping load of 3100 kg.
The T770 and A770 share several innovative features that characterize all of the New Generation loaders from Bobcat. Prominent among them is the design of the spacious new Premium Cab which features a new forward position that offers a 30% increase in all-round visibility for the operator and enhanced forward visibility through a 45% larger glass pane in the door.
