Doosan Infracore Participates in Bauma, World’s Largest Construction Machinery Fair

Bauma 2013, the world’s largest construction machinery fair, was held in Munich, Germany from April 15-21. Doosan Infracore exhibited more than 50 products, including its latest models, drawing keen attention from visitors.

At the triennial Bauma, expo producers of construction machinery worldwide promote their technological capacity and develop sales channels. This year’s event brought together more than 3,300 companies from 50 countries worldwide, and displayed a wide variety of products including construction machinery, cranes, road equipment and earthmoving and mining machinery.

Doosan Infracore’s booth, installed at the outdoor exhibition site F6 612/3, occupied 4440m2, the same size as the booth used at the show in 2010. Montabert’s booth, measuring 320m2, was placed directly opposite Doosan Infracore’s. Doosan Infracore posted the slogan, “More than Construction Equipment - Your Partner” at its booth at this year’s event to prove its commitment to providing quality and services that exceed client expectations.

Doosan Infracore’s booth showcased a total of more than 50 models, including wheeled excavators (DX140W-3 and DX160W-3), a large crawler excavator (DX380LC-3), and wheel loaders (DL200-3, DL250-3, and DL550-3). Furthermore, it exhibited the DL06K and G2 D24 engines, which feature Tier 4 Final technology, demonstrating the Company’s technological excellence. Bobcat also displayed a wide variety of models that have enjoyed global popularity, including the 400 Series compact loaders, including the latest models. The new models on display at the event included Bobcat skid steer loaders (S510, S550, and S590) and a compact tractor loader (T590). Also displayed at Bauma 2013 were the 600, 700 and 800 models, which have been introduced to the market as large-size models.

Doosan Infracore made all-out efforts to install a quality exhibition booth that would make a strong impression of a Company that manufactures distinctive products.
The first floor of the booth was equipped with a space for light snacks and various meeting rooms. Unlike the Company’s booth at the Intermat exhibition, this one was designed to enable visitors to view the exhibits, participate in special events, and hold consultation meetings all at once, for utmost convenience. In one corner of the booth was the Demo Show section, with attention-grabbing shows every hour. As Bobcat products, excavators, and Doosan ADT made moves in a glaring fashion in tune with music, visitors responded enthusiastically.

Nancy De Sy, manager for communication at Doosan Infracore’s Waterloo affiliate in Belgium, said, “We prepared the exhibition in a way that enabled our clients and dealers to recognize, ‘Right, this is Doosan, Bobcat, and Montabert,’ and develop trust in them,” adding, “Through this exhibition, visitors were able to realize that Doosan and Bobcat have truly become one. Many people not only in Europe but also from around the world have shown keen interest in Doosan Infracore.”
