Yuchai political work cadre training opens

On August 18, the Party Committee of Yuchai Group held the opening ceremony of the political work cadre training and delivered the first session, raising the curtain of the training. Chairman and Party Secretary Yan Ping, Deputy Party Secretary Zhang Jiasha and other leaders of Yuchai Group were present. 

Yan extended congratulations on the opening of the training, spoke highly of the role of the political work team, and pinned ardent hope. Yan noted, "The political work team is a soul engineer as well as the builder of corporate cultural soft strength", which has played a significant role in various activities and publicity platforms. Yuchai's healthy and fast development in recent years has been inseparable form the efforts of the team, and Yuchai's future development calls for a stronger political team. Heads of all units should attach great importance to political work, and political work cadres should establish confidence, love political work, and give play to its role as a direct promoter of corporate culture and an operator of corporate cultural activities. Yan added that the group will release programmatic documents to plan the career of political work cadres and make political work recognized by more and more enterprises and people.

Yuchai opens the training with the aim of improving the quality and capacity of the political work team, and cultivating a lofty, broad-mended, literate, cultured, solid and capable political work cadre team familiar with business operation and skilled in management. The training will be carried out based on key annual tasks, and the training in the second half of 2011 will include seven sessions, which cover Yuchai's culture, political work discussion, products, political work guidance, ideological work, labor laws and regulations, writing knowledge, etc.

Following the opening ceremony, Deputy Party Secretary Guo Deming gave a lecture on Yuchai's culture in the first-session training. From the aspects of overview of Yuchai's culture, interpretation of Yuchai's cultural concept and how to fulfill Yuchai's culture, Guo introduced Yuchai's evolution over the six decades, as well as two distinctive characteristics--green and harmony and seven advantages, vividly demonstrated the system and level of Yuchai's culture with the image of cultural tree, profoundly interpreted Yuchai's cultural concept by comparing the new and old cultural concepts, and finally came up with cultural tasks for the next period. Guo added, if corporate cultural building may be described as a "great drama" for corporate development, heads of all units are the directors, and every political work cadre is an actor, everyone has the responsibility to stage the drama successfully and collaboratively, and to produce good effects. 

Persons in charge of Party committees, labor unions, Youth League committees and woman work committees of all units under Yuchai as well as Party branch secretaries were present.
